Strogilokastro

Strogilokastro is a relatively unknown castle on a hill in the south of the town of Domokos in Fthiotida. It is an Ottoman fortress and was built by Rasif Pasha in the early 17th century. There is also the view that it was a Frankish castle.

The castle occupies an area of approximately four acres. The special feature of the castle is the 10-meter-round roundabout in its northern part, in which the ammunition depot existed, from which it took its name. For its construction, white stone from the hill was used
